Another series of good days; general update.

I'll begin with today. I received a note in the mail from MTA's Student Affairs which included a number of things related to Orientation. Apparently I'm considered a mature student, and this is thrilling to me (I need to get out more...) because I had been concerned about how I would get along with other students, meet people, etc. This was a huge worry of mine, and so receiving this note took a lot of stress away.

On Thursday I was able to see my cousin again. I went for a fondue event (I had never been to one!) at my aunt's home which was attended by a number of my relatives. Was lots of fun, and I hope we get to do this type of thing again soon.

On Wednesday I am flying with my family to Newfoundland to see my brother. This being his first summer away from home, it's been difficult and obviously we've missed him.

While there my sister and I plan to return to a vegan-friendly coffee shop which we visited last time, and we loved it... hopefully we can drag dad and mum there someday also. We will do a lot of wandering yet again and I intend to be on the hunt for unique beads that I can use in my jewelry, as per usual.

I also want to see Signal Hill again, for the third time. I'm told there's an observatory in St. John's, which I'd also like to see. I want to hunt for museums and/or local shops too.

Oh and on that note, I was able to get to an astronomy event at the Irving Nature Park which was so much fun. But how did I miss the Perseids?! It peaked last week, Nuu!

That's it for now. Not sure if I'll write again prior to leaving for Newfoundland.
